Our friendly, approachable and experienced physios in Fremantle will help you better understand your body, your injury and will guide you through the recovery process.

We pride ourselves on being the trusted names in the industry and want to help you “get back on the horse” as soon as possible. We have been helping people for over 20 years which means there’s rarely a case or injury we haven’t seen before and treated. 

LIAM CURRAN

Physiotherapist

Musculoskeletal and Sports Therapy
 

Liam graduated from Trinity College in Dublin in 2014, and over the course of his career he has accumulated a vast range of experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, tendinopathies, arthritis, joint replacements and hip pain. Liam has a masters in Sports Physiotherapy from University College Dublin and has published research on ankle injuries. 

As a physio and certified strength and conditioning coach, Liam enjoys combining his manual therapy skills with specifically tailored rehabilitation programs to achieve his patient’s goals.

In his spare time Liam loves a good coffee, live music and to be outside in nature. He is excited to be settled into the Fremantle Community with his wife who is a GP.

NATASA TEDMAN

Physiotherapist

Nataša Tedman has been a physiotherapist for over thirteen years. Initially, she was trained in Montenegro and then completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Curtin University in Perth. In 2016, she completed a one-year intensive training program in Clinical Pilates. Following that, she undertook studies in Continence and Pelvic Health at Curtin, where in 2017, she completed her Graduate Certificate and, in 2019, her Master’s degree.

Nataša Tedman is an APA member and a Titled Physiotherapist. She has gained diverse physiotherapy experience, including Neurorehabilitation, Aged care, Musculoskeletal injuries, Pelvic Health, and Paediatric Continence, both in Australia and overseas. Nataša has been treating musculoskeletal injuries and pelvic floor problems for over a decade.

Outside of work, Natasa likes to practice yoga, read, travel, and watch F1. She has a daughter, Mila, and her family lives in Montenegro, which she tries to visit once a year.

Natasa is treating following conditions but not limited to:

Musculoskeletal problems (Lower back pain, Neck pain, Muscular and tendon pain (sprains and strains, tendinopathies), Acute and chronic joint pains (such as shoulder, knee, and hip conditions), Sporting injuries, Workplace injuries, Pre and Post Surgery Rehabilitation, Falls prevention).

Women’s Health (Bladder and bowel problems, Pelvic muscle and abdominal weakness, Pain with intercourse, Pelvic Pain, Bladder and Bowel issues, Pregnancy and Postnatal Care, Rehabilitation before and after gynaecological surgery)

Men’s Health (Bladder and bowel problems for men, Pelvic Floor Exercises, Pelvic Pain for Men, rehabilitation per and post-prostatectomy)

ANDREW BELL

Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc (Physio)

Andrew has extensive experience in private practice physiotherapy, including running his own clinic since 2002. He enjoys seeing patients with a variety of musculoskeletal problems, and has significant experience with sportspeople of all levels, having played hockey competitively and having coached from minkey to first division levels. Andrew also has a strong interest in helping older bodies function as best as they can.

Andrew has also been the physio at the Handa Australian Senior Golf Open and has worked with the Australian Baseball League’s Perth Heat.

Andrew is dry needling certified.

 

JENNY WOODS

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc.(Physio) Post Grad.Dip.Manip.Ther.

Jenny Woods is an experienced physiotherapist with post graduate training in musculoskeletal disorders and has worked with professional ballet dancers as Head of Dancer Wellbeing at the West Australian Ballet from 2014-2019. She has worked extensively in the hospital and private sector for more than 30 years.

She is interested in the treatment of all areas of musculoskeletal pain management and has a special interest in foot, ankle, knee, hip & lower back problems. Jenny is Dry needling certified, Pilates certified and is a GLA:D hip and knee arthritis practitioner.

 

TRISH STARLING

Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc.(Physio) 

Trish graduated from Curtin in 1988 and worked in a wide variety of public and private settings, both in WA and around Australia. Her specialties include hydrotherapy, exercise therapy and falls prevention, with a special interest in chronic pain rehabilitation. Trish has been an elite middle distance runner and continues to keep fit with walking and hiking. Trish is currently only undertaking hydrotherapy at Kirby Swim for a Tuesday session as she is participating in research regarding support of carers managing patients following hospital admissions.

KASIA ELLIS

Remedial Massage Therapist

Kasia is a Polish trained Physiotherapist who has 20 years of experience in massage therapy. She worked as a massage therapist during her studies and has since completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage in Australian in 2018. Kasia has decided to further her passion for Physiotherapy, enrolling in Physiotherapy at Notre Dame in 2023 (due to her original qualifications not being fully recognised).

Kasia brings a wealth of musculoskeletal knowledge to her remedial massage sessions and is able to apply her previous physiotherapy studies and new knowledge to each client. She has a unique approach to remedial massage therapy, utilising dry needling and a variety of massage techniques to restore your muscular system to its best capacity.
Kasia is also Dry Needling Certified.
